Valentino is the only known alpaca in the world to have won SEVEN NATIONAL SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIPS.

He has also won EVERY AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP AT NATIONAL SHOW LEVEL

Including:
Junior Male,
Intermediate Male,
Adult Male,
Senior Male (twice), and lastly
Mature Male
Veteran Male

Valentino has outstanding genetics and he is the only alpaca with these genetics.  We have only shown his dam twice, she won Senior Champion Female and Mature Champion Female at the New Zealand National. Valentino’s grand sire Bellisimo was an Australian Supreme Champion and his grand dam Sierra Lass was used as an embryo transfer donor.

Valentino has optimum fleece qualities, excellent luster, great density, excellent fibre length and very low micron primary and secondary fibres. 

His fleece is highly aligned, well organized and has a deep amplitude crimp with fine individual staples. He has a well nourished fleece with very little medulated fibre.

His fleece has passed the test of time, winning National Supreme fleece with his 81 month old fleece. This fleece was entered in the veteran class and was the second largest fleece entry in the history of New Zealand shows. 

His confirmation is very sound, with good width of chest. He is a heavy boned male who is well grown out with a very true to type head.

Numerous other progeny have won Supremes and Championships at all the major shows in New Zealand. In 2019 we were delighted to win National Supreme Champion with Stoneleigh Fiorello, a grandson of Stoneleigh Valentino.

Stoneleigh Flamboyant Supreme National Fleece winner 2021

We are delighted Stoneleigh Flamboyant has won the New Zealand National Supreme Huacaya Championship.
She won the National Supreme Championship with her senior fleece, at 43 months of age, scoring 86 points. She also won Champion White and Champion Mature Fleece. Stoneleigh Flamboyant is sired by Stoneleigh Valentino. She previously won National Supreme Champion in breed as an intermediate in 2017. She is certainly passing the test of time. This is a focus of our breeding program.
The 2021 New Zealand National Show was a fleece only show, and was postponed, due to the COVID restrictions in New Zealand in late 2021. Due to a dedicated team of people the show was judged on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th February 2022.
